iSEISMIC AS is a new Ocean Bottom Seismic (OBS) acquisition specialist lead by some of the most experienced pioneers in the industry.
Carl Berg, Chief Executive Officer
Carl spent a large part of his career at ExxonMobil and subsequently Statoil as a senior geophysicist before taking senior roles with a number of highly innovative geophysical contractors including Magseis. In 2018, he launched First Performance Geoservices (FPGEO) as CEO which merged with iSEISMIC in January, 2019. Carl’s experience within the geophysical industry is extensive and due to his guidance and the expertise of his team, iSEISMIC now lead the OBS market.
Jan Kleppestø, Chief Operating Officer
Jan brings over 25 years’ experience in seabed seismic, subsea and marine operations to his role and has a strong track record of planning and executing complex OBS surveys around the world. After a distinguished career as an officer in the Royal Norwegian Navy he joined the Norwegian company, PGS. During a career in the seismic industry spanning over 23 years, Jan also worked at CGG and Magsies, holding a number of senior operational roles before co-founding FPGEO with Carl in 2018.
Torgeir Mangersnes, Chief Financial Officer
After graduating with an MSc in economics and business administration, accounting and finance, Torgeir’s career has included the positions of Finance Manager at Falck Nutec AS and CFO of Onsoft Computer Systems AS. He joined the iSEISMIC team in January, 2019 as CFO and brings over 25 years’ financial experience within the maritime sector to the team.
Rick Donoghue, VP Sales and Marketing
In a career spanning four decades, Rick spent over 20 years with energy giant, Schlumberger, where he developed his management skills in a number of key operational and marketing roles in the UK, USA and Singapore. Since 2002, he has worked with several other leading oilfield service companies, including Wavefield Geophysical which he co-founded in 2006. Most recently Rick was Regional Director of Europe and Africa for Polarcus before joining iSEISMIC in February, 2019.
