The iSURVEY Group wishes to strengthen the field pool and are looking to recruit new Survey Engineers to support our global operations.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Offshore project execution according to general or project specific procedures / work instructions
  • Mobilisation, maintenance and operation of survey equipment
  • Installation and configuration of technical software packages
  • Project preparation and workshop support onshore, as required
  • Following up hardware and software developments, as required


We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Experience with a wide range of survey equipment, including multibeam systems
  • Experience with the EIVA Navi-suite
  • Good general computer skills
  • Good knowledge of English (both written and verbal)


It would be advantageous, though not essential, for candidates to have:

  • A degree in electronics or equivalent
  • Experience with geophysical equipment (i.e. Magnetometers, SVPs and Side Scan Sonar)
  • Online survey acquisition experience


The position will be based in Europe and the successful applicant(s) may be resident anywhere in Europe providing that they live within 2 hours of a major international airport. Applicants must be willing to travel globally for this role.

Project ManagerNo closing date

iSURVEY are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager from within the field of marine surveying, with the relevant experience and proven track record, to join their UK office in Aberdeen.

The role will see the successful candidate working closely with the Operations Manager, Personnel Coordinator and offshore staff to manage and deliver present and future iSURVEY offshore projects.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

· Management of offshore projects, including planning, implementation, documentation and cost control

· Being the main contact point with the client during project execution

· Preparation of procedures, reporting and data delivery

· Communication of project expectations to team members

· Liaison with personnel coordinator regarding issues related to project staff

· Contract responsibility in co-operation with Business Development Manager

· Preparation of (draft) invoices to client

· Participation in Duty Officer rotation

· Building and developing of business relationships vital to the success of the project and the company as a whole


This role requires a highly motivated team player, with initiative, enthusiasm and commitment. Other preferred qualifications and personal skills include:


· A suitable qualification in a survey related discipline

· Strong experience of marine surveying and positioning

· Knowledge of project management techniques including planning, budget control and resource management

· Excellent administrative and technical knowledge (through frequent interactions with employees and clients)

· Good written and oral communications skills (English)

· Evidence of a highly structured and methodical approach to working

· High work capacity

· Good computer skills

· Social and positive attitude


The position will be based in the iSURVEY Office, which is currently in Banchory, Aberdeenshire.

The iSURVEY Group wishes to strengthen the field pool and are looking to recruit new data processors.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Processing of survey data, i.e. Navigation, Multibeam and Cable / Pipe tracker data
  • Reporting of processed survey data


We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Experience with the acquisition and processing of Multibeam, Cable / Pipe tracker, and video data
  • Knowledge of EIVA processing suite
  • Good general computer skills
  • Good knowledge of English (both written and verbal)


It would be advantageous, though not essential, for candidates to have:

  • Experience with processing of SBP and SSS data
  • ESRI GIS competence
  • Programming and scripting knowledge
  • Degree in geomatics or geodesy
  • Online survey experience

  • Mobilisation and operation of our navigation systems
  • Project preparation and reporting onshore, as required
  • Following up hardware and software developments, as required


We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Experience with Multibeam systems
  • Experience with the EIVA Navi-suite
  • Good general computer skills
  • Good knowledge of English (both written and verbal)


It would be advantageous, though not essential, for candidates to have:

  • A degree in geomatics or geodesy
  • Data processing experience
