The Geophysicist will be central to defining and contributing to strategic and operational improvements within the departments' activities.

Typical responsibilities will be:

Technical Lead - LBLNo closing date

iSURVEY Offshore Ltd. wish to strengthen the expertise within the company and are, therefore, looking for a Technical Lead in LBL to join the team. The role will combine the execution of survey and positioning projects offshore, with the provision of technical guidance and training onshore. The successful candidate will be expected to provide Project Management assistance when required, as well as supporting the tendering process with technical expertise. Further, the successful candidate will be expected to attend technical conferences and seminars on a regular basis. The Technical Lead reports to the Operations Manager.

We are seeking individuals with expertise and experience from the offshore survey industry. Candidates should have extensive LBL experience, including metrology (both horizontal flange and vertical hub). Experience with both rigid pipelay installation and pipelay support (e.g. pipeline inspection) is an advantage, though not essential, as is any INS experience, both real-time and post-processing. Possessing the ability to develop processes and procedures relating to the above competencies, including input to software development, would also be an advantage.

Candidates will preferably have a survey-related degree and will further demonstrate an awareness of, and interest in, emerging survey technologies and methods.

iSURVEY operates globally; as such, good knowledge of English, both written and verbal, is required. The candidate must also be prepared to travel globally.
